Mr. Panagotacos is a founding partner of Dunn & Panagotacos LLP. Mr. Panagotacos’ practice covers a broad range of litigation, including personal injury, product defect, contract disputes, real estate, complex litigation, premises liability, professional liability, consumer fraud, and securities law.

Mr. Panagotacos has extensive experience in both state and federal courts; successfully representing clients through every aspect of litigation, including deposition, arbitration, mediation and trial. Mr. Panagotacos’ business clients have included Fortune 100 companies as well as small companies. Prior to co-founding Dunn & Panagotacos LLP, Mr. Panagotacos practiced at one of the largest law firms in California in the areas of commercial litigation and business transactions, advising and representing individual and corporate clients in a diverse range of business disputes and transactions. Mr. Panagotacos also worked in environmental and toxic tort practice areas focusing on products liability and toxic tort litigation, including the representation of manufacturers, suppliers and contractors in asbestos, silica, and mold-related personal injury and wrongful death actions.

In Mr. Panagotacos’ commercial litigation practice, he handles contract disputes, unfair competition claims, financial services litigation, broker-dealer disputes, commercial lease negotiations, and franchising agreements. Mr. Panagotacos has experience handling many real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant litigation, construction defect matters, easement and boundary disputes, unlawful detainer actions, non-disclosure issues, and other disputes involving the purchase, sale and leasing of real property. Mr. Panagotacos also handles select personal injury cases representing individuals with catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injuries (TBI’s), amputations, paralysis and other life-altering and life-threatening injuries.

Early in his career, Mr. Panagotacos clerked for KPMG LLP in the International Corporate Tax division. He clerked for several large multinational companies in the analysis and proposals of complex tax structures, focusing on intangible holding companies. While in law school, Mr. Panagotacos also worked for the Attorney General’s Office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, assisting with the implementation of a new government contract law.

Mr. Panagotacos earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2005, where he served as the Student Director as a research assistant for Professors William Bassett and Robert Talbot. Mr. Panagotacos also earned an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco, with an emphasis in international finance. While at USF, Mr. Panagotacos worked in the Investor Justice Clinic, handling arbitration claims with the NASD (now FINRA) and negotiated favorable settlements for clients.

Mr. Panagotacos obtained his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2001, where he was a member of the Varsity baseball team. Mr. Panagotacos was a member of the Greek Olympic Baseball team and traveled with the team to Athens in 2004. He also played for Greece in the 2010 European Baseball Championship in Stuttgart, Germany, and in the World Cup of Baseball in Panama in 2011. Mr. Panagotacos acts as the team’s General Counsel and represented the team and individual players and coaches in a variety of sports law disputes and negotiations.
